Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. POSITION SUMMARY
Inspect, test, sort, sample, or weigh raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated or assembled parts or products for defects, wear and deviations from specification to ensure quality standards are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS or REQUIREMENTS
· Strong knowledge of IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610 quality standards, or the capability to complete training and testing with 90% score or higher.

Education& Experience:
Minimum Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Electronics Assembly experience preferred but not required.
Quality Assurance experience a plus.
Familiarity with control plans and FMEAs.
Familiarity with problem solving tools such as 5 Whys, C/E Diagrams, Pareto Diagrams, Flow Charts, Histograms, etc…
