Quality Control Inspector performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Being a Quality Control Inspector records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Quality Control Inspector typically reports to a supervisor. The Quality Control Inspector may require 0-1 year of general work experience. 5 years experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting DoD. Must be proficient in use of standard measuring instruments, first article inspection, production inspection and in-process inspection. Preferred experience with CMM and/or Laser Tracker equipment. Must have proficient computer skills, above average organizational skills and good oral and written communication skills. AS9100 and ChemFilm experience a plus. Candidate must be extremely dependable. Must be US Citizen.
