Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     How will you make an impact?

    As an integral member of the Quality Control department, the QC Analyst II will perform quality review of all field data and report documentation to TSS requirements, client expectations and accuracy. The QC Analyst II will be a key team member in supporting project documentation and data with internal departments and clients as needed to resolve pending quality control concerns.

    What will you do?

    • Perform Quality Control (QC) checks on TSS field documentation and test results for conformance to both normative and client specifications upstream of the Technical Report writing process.
    • Coordinate as required with internal departments to resolve errors and meet quality control objectives
    • Correct field documentation within internal discussions, or in report generation and log errors identified during review process.
    • Execute work in timeline as set by Quality Control Manager.
    • Maintain client-specific documents per defined departmental and company-wide filing practices.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-year or 4-year degree preferred.
    • Requires at least 1 year of relevant customer service experience.
    • A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new services.
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision by employing effective time management and prioritization skills.
    • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Competencies with computer usage in general.
    • Ability to effectively use the MS Office package, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Photoshop
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
