Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.   • Who You Are

    Quality Control Analyst I is responsible for performing a range of Quality Control testing techniques on production facilities, intermediates, and products and provide support for the incoming material inspection program and sample management programs.


    How You Contribute

    • Performs routine cGMP testing for samples according to approved procedures.
    • Executes method qualification activities under the supervision of a project lead.
    • Performs incoming material inspections.
    • Support sample control/management activities.
    • Supports environmental monitoring and testing, where required.
    • Support operational systems (equipment/instrument maintenance/calibration, equipment alarm monitoring, and sample handling/tracking)
    • Ensure continuous lab compliance with applicable cGMP regulations and SOPs, and support regulatory audits.
    • Other laboratory responsibilities as required.


    What You Bring to the Team

    Education & Experience

    • Minimum BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field
    • 0 – 3 years of experience in a cGMP, QC, or a similar laboratory environment is required
    • Strong good documentation practices
    • Strong technical writing skills
    • Previous experience performing HPLC, PCR, or cell-based potency testing is preferred.

    • Self-directed individual who is able to work with limited direction in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
    • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
