Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. Being a Quality Control Analyst compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Specific Duties:
- Work with Compliance to approve labels
- Work with Purchasing to obtain and maintain supplier approval
- Work with Compliance and R&D to obtain and maintain Kosher/Halal/Organic certifications

- Performs Mock Recalls
- Works/prepares for/communicates with auditing bodies
- SOP Creation/review
- Manages CAPA log and follows up with corrective actions
- Fill in for QA as needed on the floor
Performs other quality duties requested.
Ensures execution of TNT quality assurance goals & objectives, actions plans, audits, measurement systems, etc.; develops measurable department goals & action plans and analyses department work by periodically evaluating the QA’s in production to build a better understanding of key quality challenges; collaborates with management team to build commitment to implement department improvements & maintain high quality compliance; communicates department job expectations, conducts quality training, coaches, and counsels QA workers, as needed.
