Quality Control Analyst performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conducts and validates various biological and chemical quality control (QC) assays. May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting assays and writing standard operating procedures. Additionally, Quality Control Analyst typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Quality Control Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     Hours: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm
    Pay: $24.50 .50 cent differential
    Temp to Perm after 6 months
    OT offered, never mandatory

    Job Description:
    - Perform basic troubleshooting
    - Calibrate and maintain lab equipment
    - Perform investigative analysis to support investigations, complaints, or instrument troubleshooting
    - Conduct and document investigations for laboratory out of specification results
    - Perform environmental monitoring duties
    - Testing raw material, cleaning sample testing, PH testing, wet testing
    - Provide new hire or cross training as requested
    - Conduct reviews for discrepancies in data, manufacture COA, COC, and perform data verification in accordance with company procedures
    - Perform other duties as assigned


    Job Requirements
    Required Skills / Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree (Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology)
    1-3 years of experience
    PH Testing, Chemistry background, QC Laboratory
    Must be comfortable with lab testing
    cGMP experience along with USP/EP
    Collaboration tools (EG, Microsoft Office)
    Can work independently
