JOB SUMMARY:
This Coordinator will serve as Facility Compliance Officer for ASH and will establish, monitor and update the facility’s corporate compliance program. This person will demonstrate knowledge and keen understanding of all applicable laws and regulations, and educate facility staff, outside contractors and agents of the requirements of the facility program.
The coordinator will coordinate data collection and documentation of quality improvement activities, hospital performance improvement team meetings, preparation of logs for quality, risk monitoring, and coordination of quality data from all departments to meet facility / governmental standards. Leads survey readiness activities and directed by hospital leadership, oversees internal audits, conducts monthly PI meetings to review all data, upholds quality standards throughout the organization and encourages others to do the same, ensures all Quality measures are reported timely thru NHSN, and Quality Net. Infection Control must be able to coordinate and supervise the overall plan for the prevention of infections with the hospital to include monitoring of infectious processes, calculation and presentation of infection control rates and supplemental data, monitoring of patients at risk for infection and provide surveillance activities.
