Quality Assurance Specialist jobs in Lenexa, KS

Job Responsibilities

• Reports to Manager of Regulatory Affairs
• Responsible for the Quality inspection of incoming raw materials and packaging.
• Will review and approve manufacturing batch records, completed manufacturing records, Quality Control test results, SOPs, Production Outlines, Special Outlines and Raw Material Specifictions
• Will assist in establishing USDA compliance parameters and implementing USDA approved processes
• Reviews and trends environmental monitoring results
• Will audit production and Quality Control processes and documentation
• Will assist with Quality Assurance and Regulatory training programs as needed

Background Requirements

• BS/BA in science-related field.
• One to five years experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control or Regulatory Affairs.
• Knowledge of USDA Principles/Practices preferred.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance/Control of Biological Manufacturing is preferred.

Annual Base Salary - $40,000 - $45,000 - based on education/experience
