Quality Assurance Nurse, Sr. jobs in Lakewood, WA

As a QA Specialist, you will join a team of professionals who ensure the quality and safety of the aerospace parts and assemblies. You will perform various quality assurance tasks such as inspecting, testing, auditing, and reporting on the products and processes, and ensuring compliance with the industry standards and regulations. This is a direct hire position.

Compensation: $25 - $30/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, OT as needed

Location: Enumclaw, WA

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and test the functionality and performance of the aerospace parts and assemblies, using various tools and methods, such as visual inspection, dimensional measurement, non-destructive testing, and functional testing.
• Identify and report any defects, deviations, or non-conformities, and initiate corrective and preventive actions, in collaboration with the production and engineering teams.
• Audit and monitor the quality management system, and ensure adherence to the AS9100, ISO9001, and other relevant standards and specifications.
• Review and approve the technical documents, such as drawings, schematics, manuals, and instructions, and ensure their accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and update quality records and data, such as inspection reports, test results, audit findings, and corrective actions, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Communicate and coordinate with the internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and regulators, and ensure customer satisfaction and quality expectations are met.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and some postsecondary education or training in aerospace technology, quality assurance, or related field.
• At least two years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge and skills in aerospace parts and assemblies, quality standards and regulations, inspection and testing methods and tools, and quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as blueprints, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
• Ability to use various quality tools and equipment, such as meters, testers, gauges, and calipers.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and follow safety and quality procedures and instructions.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
