We're currently seeking a Quality Assurance Test Manager. The selected candidate must be able to work hybrid for the first 90 days. A remote work schedule may be available after 90 days of employment pending the manager’s discretion and approval.

Our client is currently a hybrid 60/40 office/telecommute agency. After 90 days, contractors may be approved for full-time telecommuting with the possibility of infrequent meetings in the agency’s offices. Please note as an executive branch agency, we are bound to policy and guidance of the elected Executive Branch and subject to

any future expansion or removal of telecommuting policies.

We have an immediate need for an exceptional individual to join our organization as a Quality Assurance Test Manager. This opportunity is based in Frankfort, KY and will be both in-office and remote. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and emotional intelligence, while meeting the needs of our client.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

A Quality Assurance Test Manager will help develop and maintain company quality standards. Good candidates will be analytical and have a strong desire to improve products and performance. The ideal candidate will be able to fulfill the following duties:

• Train quality assurance staff.
• Oversee the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.
• Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
• Communicate quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
• Coordinate product testing processes.
• Participate in product testing.
• Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues.
• Review client, customer, and user feedback.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing in collaboration with the business.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Three to five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience a plus.
