Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that products meet standards set by Kreher’s Farm Fresh Eggs, Eggland’s Best and regulatory authorities. The Quality Assurance Manager, working with the Sr. Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, will implement quality assurance policies, programs and activities that will ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, government regulations, and industry best practices including SQF, GMP and HACCP. The Quality Assurance Manager will assist in conducting internal audits and managing audits by third-party inspectors. The Quality Assurance Manager will train other employees on quality assurance policies and practices and oversee various facets of egg processing. Working with the Sr. Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance, the QAM will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s policies, procedures and practices are consistent across farms. This position will assist the Sr. Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance and work directly on the processing floor with the Processing Supervisor, Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and others as part of the operations team.
