The primary role of the QA Supervisor is the management of the Food Safety System. This includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the company’s HACCP Plan, SQF compliance, FDA compliance, and Good Manufacturing Processes. This is a hands-on job which requires tenacity, strong understanding of QA practices, food safety fundamentals, system management, as well as good people skills.
Essential Functions
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of QA Technician employees. This is a salaried, exempt position and is a fully on-site role at our facilities in Hood River, OR. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility in work schedule is required to accommodate business needs. Occasionally required to work long days and on weekends.
