    Join Thermo King as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer! This is a great opportunity to see your work executed in the field! As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a team delivering digital solutions to help customers optimize uptime and efficiency while challenging possible for a more sustainable future.  You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of those digital solutions. To do this, you will be responsible for software testing, including requirements analysis, test preparation, execution, results analysis, and reporting defects.  You will collaborate with internal and external customers and development teams in order to evaluate system behavior.  You will execute system and sub-system level testing to ensure system behavior meets implicit and explicit requirements. And, you will participate in design reviews, failure analysis, resolution planning & report activities.

     

    This position is eligible for a Hybrid work schedule and will be based out of our Minneapolis, MN location. 

     

    Responsibilities:  

    • Execute complete Software Test Life Cycle.
    • Manage field trials and conduct comprehensive analysis.
    • Cooperate with cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate inputs into decisions.
    • Understanding of complex dynamic systems.
    • Proactively provide status updates and progress metrics to supervisor.
    • Support telematics operations and certifications.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in STEM field, and 7 years of work experience in a testing or related role is required.

     

    Key Competencies:    

    • Expertise in Testing Methodologies.
    • Proficiency with Software Development and Test Tools and Work Processes.
    • Experience authoring test plans.
    • Experience with wireless and wired communications – Cellular, Bluetooth, GPS, CAN
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and proactive problem-solving ability.
    • Knowledge of software automation to include scripting, debugging, execution, and analysis.
    • Knowledge of PTCRB/Trendi certification processes a plus
    • Knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration systems and devices a plus.
    • Strong sense of ownership, taking full accountability for assigned tasks, with the ability to adapt and change direction swiftly.
    • Collaborative mindset, recognizing the importance of teamwork, and exhibiting a willingness to seek assistance and provide support when necessary.


    Base Pay Range:  $94,950 – 148,500

    Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role will also include an incentive plan.
