Position snapshot:
As a QA Coverage Coordinator, you’ll work closely with broker units to keep our insurance practices sharp and up to standard. You’ll review client accounts, help solve coverage puzzles and advise on insurance rules and documents. Think of yourself as a go-to resource for our brokers, helping them navigate tricky insurance waters with your expert knowledge. What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 10 years commercial lines experience with extensive knowledge of property and casualty coverages
- Valid resident property and casualty insurance license preferred, not required
- Certified insurance counselor (CIC) or chartered property casualty underwriter (CPCU) or equivalent designation preferred, not required

What you’ll be doing:
- Address questions from the QA Coverage team about insurance forms, agreements, coverage, audit disputes and mergers & acquisitions
- Assist with interpreting rules from NCCI and ISO
- Contact regulatory authorities and state insurance departments when needed
- Conduct thorough commercial account reviews to provide coverage guidance, including:
- Researching public sources to understand client operations and loss exposure
- Reviewing current insurance programs and policy documents
- Comparing insurance applications, proposals, proofs of coverage (COIs and EPIs) and binders
- Analyzing documentation and communication to evaluate information quality
- Offering recommendations to enhance coverage and quality control
- Rating the account based on Quality Assurance Review procedures
- Creating and sending review summaries to brokers
- Lead discussions with brokers and VP of Quality Assurance to address review findings and set expectations for necessary adjustments
- Assist brokers with informal policy reviews and exposure assessments for clients and prospects, as needed
- Maintain timely documentation to support department metrics
- Contribute to the development of marketing, reference and educational materials
- Support training and development for agency and unit staff
