The Quality Assurance/Electrical Coordinator is responsible for owning all aspects of the electrical plan and execution from submittal to install completion as well as working with engineers on fixing ticket issues prior to casting.
Essential Functions- Work with the project electrician during submittal phase to make sure all electrical is shown on shop tickets and electrical is approved by the project electrician and prints clearly define proper installation directions.
- Attend all turnover meetings to gain awareness of upcoming projects requiring electrical.
- Verify all supplies are in stock prior to production.
- Verify electrical assemblies are assembled correctly, this includes electrical prefab components.
- Visit job sites as needed to assist in correcting any electrical issues.
- Innovate and implement improvements in electrical design, installation processes and purchased components, improving quality, install time and cost.
- Track ticket release schedules to ensure engineering partners deliver on time.
- Review elevations for structural product details prior to pre-pour meetings.
- Coordinate pre-pour meetings.
- Review complexity, detail, and size of pour of structural products and communicate with supervisors any concerns prior to production.
- Compare precast drawings to architectural and structural plans.
- Work with engineering partners to relay any issues or changes needed that affect production.
- Report out on issue tracking.
- Create and manage ticket review checklist.
- Perform model QA and exports into Ahead software.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
- Reports to TQM Director
Education RequirementsRequired: High School Diploma or the equivalent.
Experience RequirementsRequired: Knowledge of plant operation, maintenance, and electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints Knowledge of electrical code
