POSITION OVERVIEW
Perform administrative duties for the QA Department, including Field Incident Report (FIR) initiation and coordination, performance data collection, analysis, and reporting. Assist in the Quality and Continuous Improvement Program and specific Customer and statutory/regulatory requirements.
Education: Associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred), or a solid administrative background in a Quality department for a minimum of five years
Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum Advance Level (Expert Level preferred) in Microsoft Office suite of tools.
- Previous experience (Professional Certification preferred) coordinating a busy, diverse department, preferably with administrative and project management skills.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team under minimum supervision, well organized and hold a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills; written and oral communication skills; be detail oriented, organized, accurate, flexible and able to handle multiple tasks and time critical deadlines.
- Must be able to interface with others in a professional manner.
- The ability and willingness to learn new tasks and software programs as appropriate.
- Attend training courses and acquire new qualifications as deemed necessary to perform the duties of the position.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Initiation, collection, and electronic coordination of Quality documentation including all types of incident reports.
- Assist and analyze timely and accurately inspection data to be able to provide concise, useful, and unambiguous reports.
- Assist in the maintenance of the SharePoint Quality drive for the department.
- Interface with others internal and external and communicate quality problems in a professional and effective manner.
- Review, research, and provide assistance and/or documentation to both internal and external customers.
- Assist in the coordination of external testing of materials and product.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Document Control System, including the creation, revision, and enhancement of document records and efficient file support for all tasks related to achieving and maintaining various Quality Assurance Certifications.
- Assist in the collation and analysis of monthly performance data generated from internal defects and customer complaints through FIR’s, IIR’s, and SIR’s.
- Assist in the coordination of the corporate processes (i.e. Calibration logs, etc.).
- Coordinate and take part in the Internal Audit Quality Program (once qualified) as an Internal Quality Auditor.
- Play a key role in assisting the company getting to the next level in its goal of achieving World Class Status.
- Coordinate daily workload accurately, promptly, and effectively.
