We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Purchasing Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry to join our team. As a Purchasing Manager at Bay to Beach Builders, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient procurement of materials and supplies while maintaining a deep understanding of our closed-loop Purchase Order (PO) system.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the procurement process, from vendor selection to final delivery.
• Maintain a closed-loop Purchase Order (PO) system to track and manage all purchases effectively.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely and cost-effective material deliveries.
• Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Analyze and report of purchasing trends, costs, and potential savings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager with a minimum of 5 years in the construction industry.
• Deep understanding and knowledge of a closed-loop Purchase Order (PO) system.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of construction materials and suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
