Purchasing Manager manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Purchasing Manager collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Implements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Purchasing Manager oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Purchasing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Purchasing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Opportunity:  The Client Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving demand generating functions including Client Marketing programs, Onboarding Campaigns (On-site and off-site), Activation flow enhancement and segmentation. The role involves crafting strategic marketing plans to drive new client acquisition, optimize client events, and boost awareness, all within a dynamic B2B2C environment.

     

    What You Will Do:

    • Develop, implement, oversee strategic marketing plans for new client acquisition to achieve aggressive growth targets for Affiliate and Public Sector accounts
    • Reimagine and optimize client events, including anniversary events, benefit fairs, and new client launch events
    • Drive awareness and demand generation for Affiliate & Public Sector program registrants and demand generation via marketing efforts; manage new client launches, communication deliverables, special programs, etc
    • Partner with account managers to understand audience opportunities and roadblocks by serving as their marketing partner to drive growth within their businesses
    • Evaluate, align and partner with the Brand Marketing and Creative departments to ensure marketing materials encompass message and brand consistency across the customer journey
    • Develop a multi-channel marketing campaign strategy that is designed to reach target audiences by using a variety of tactics such as digital marketing, email, direct mail, and event marketing; partner with marketing team colleagues to orchestrate the integration as needed
    • Implement testing plans to optimize campaign performance and spending, identifying opportunities and adapting approaches based on results
    • Identify opportunities, test investments, and adapt approaches based on results
    • Lead tracking and reporting of Affiliate and Public Sector Registration and FTB (First-Time Buyers) campaigns and metrics
    • Engage in data-driven decision making that leads to actionable campaigns and programs
    • Serve as the communication liaison between marketing department colleagues, sales/account management, cross-functional teams and external business partners
    • Participate in client and partner meetings with account managers to define strategy and communications plan and review campaign results

    The Experience You Will Bring:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
    • 5 years of experience in the multi-channel marketing field
    • 3 years of ecommerce and/or retail experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Power Point)
    • Familiarity with Asana, Salesforce or comparable CRM systems
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies
    • Proven ability to create and execute innovative and comprehensive programs and campaigns
    • Excellent oral, presentation and written communication skills and problem solving abilities
    • Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once
