Purchasing Manager manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. Being a Purchasing Manager collaborates with other functions to define current and future inventory requirements and manage inventory levels. Implements processes and systems and utilizes technical tools to analyze data and increase responsiveness to material demands. Additionally, Purchasing Manager oversees auditing processes to ensure procurement and recordkeeping comply with any applicable industry or governmental regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Purchasing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Purchasing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Manager to oversee and manage our company's inventory control procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient utilization of warehouse space. The Inventory Manager will collaborate with various departments to forecast demand, plan procurement, and minimize stock shortages. Strong organizational skills, analytical abilities, and proficiency in inventory management software are essential for success in this role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
    • Monitor inventory levels and product movement to identify discrepancies, shortages, or excesses and take appropriate action.
    • Conduct regular audits of inventory records and physical inventory to maintain accuracy and compliance with company standards.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and schedules.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper DME selection for patients.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Evaluate suppliers and vendors based on performance metrics such as delivery times, quality, and pricing to ensure cost-effective procurement.
    • Preparing and presenting accurate and timely inventory-related financial reports, including inventory turnover ratios and cost of goods sold (COGS).
    • Recording sales transactions, creating customer invoices, and tracking revenue related to inventory sales.
    • Reconciling inventory balances in QuickBooks with physical inventory counts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field
    • 2 years experience Inventory Management or related position
    • Strong understanding of inventory control principles, procedures, and best practices.
    • Strong knowledge of durable medical equipment, healthcare regulations
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
    • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data analysis.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving healthcare environment.
    • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong focus on quality and customer service.
