Basic Function  Purchase all production related and non-related Materials, ensuring a quality product is purchased at an economical price.  Assist in monthly physical inventory.  

Specific Duties

• Ensure a Stock Status Report is generated every day.
• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price, obtaining recommendations from suppliers and Purchasing Manager for substitutions. 
• Place orders for raw materials, utilizing quantity price breaks and limiting overhead.
• Review Open P.O. List and resolve any discrepancies (once a week).
• Verify Inventory Depletion Sheets; check against punches (daily).
• Assist in doing physical inventory.
• Handle all material returns to ensure proper credit.
• Investigate invoicing problems.
• Ensure material arrives on time - not too late or too early.
• Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.   
• Do all other duties as assigned.

Pay range:$15 to $17/hr depending on experience
