We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join our talented and growing team at our corporate headquarters in East Rockaway!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•          Report to and work closely with the Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain Services
•          Review, coordinate and approve purchase orders
•          Communicate with multiple departments and staff throughout the organization
•          Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, logistics and back-order analysis
•          Review, analyze and approve vendor invoices
•          Assist with general purchasing duties, departmental needs, product sourcing and other projects as they present themselves

Required Skills:

·         Strong computer skills

·         Highly organized and detail orientated

·         Experience with purchasing of dietary, medical, and housekeeping supplies as well as equipment a plus

·         Ability to be proactive, multitask, meet deadlines, and handle issues in a professional and proactive manner

·         Work well with others and individually
