POSITION SUMMARY

To file PO’s, match PO’s to vendor acknowledgements, proof PO to acknowledgement and make corrections to PO.

Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

• Match stock PO’s to vendor acknowledgements.
  • Follow up with vendors if acknowledgements are not received within 24 hours of PO date.
  • Update costs on PO, as necessary
  • Update delivery date. If new date effects our customer ship date, contact vendor to expedite.
  • Add notes to tickets in WMS using Q&C process when new delivery affects customer ship date.
  • Upload all acknowledgements into DocXT
• Run aged PO report, contact vendors, update ERP system. Notify customer service of any dates that will affect customer deliveries or production dates.
• Run PO Due Date report and follow up on orders to be delivered within 2 weeks to ensure they are still on schedule.
• Respond to customer service inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
• Contact suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
• Address A/P discrepancies with buyer and/or vendor as necessary.
• Keep system clean of all working PO’s, PO headers with no detail, etc.
• Perform buying duties.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: Two to four years related experience

Computer Skills: MS Office, e-mail, internet savvy, WMS, Wood Ware
