As our company continues to grow, we are searching for a Purchasing Agent to join our team.

This position requires initiative, attention to detail, organization, the ability to learn quickly, and a strong capability to manage relationships with people across all levels.

Responsibilities Include:

• Purchasing materials such as conduit, wire, fittings, devices, hardware and other miscellaneous products for Electrical projects from stock orders received from the project Foreman
• Maintaining daily contact and building relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Maintaining regular communication with Foremen and Project Managers to stay current and ahead of project needs
• Communication and collaborate with other members of the Purchasing Traffic group

This position is ideal for an individual with strong communication and computer skills, product knowledge, purchasing experience in the electrical industry and the ability to understand project budgets and specifications. Installation experience and/or vendor/supplier product knowledge is a plus.
