Job Responsibilities: 

• Maintains Punch Press (EMLK, Pegas, EMK) machine and performs the changing of pallets with little or no supervision
• Download programs, align & build alphanumeric punching stamps and changes and load tools with minimal supervision 
• Understand Punch Press scheduling format to locate material 
• Responsible for checking the end product to ensure it meets customer specifications and SPM quality standards
• Raise quality issues to the next level if quality is compromised 
• Utilize previously prepared programs and assigned tooling to complete each job 
• Ensure you follow all SPM safety procedures associated with operating machinery, plant requirements and other safety regulations 
• Attend all required training, seminars or other skills set instruction 
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor 

Skills & Knowledge: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of math (fraction, decimal, metric conversions) 
• Ability to understand and communicate prints and how they relate to the finished product 
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Punch Press Operation
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
