Punch Press Operator configures and operates electrically powered presses to cut, shape, and form metal, plastic, or other materials used in manufacturing operations. Performs operations such as blanking, bending, punching, and forming based on blueprints and other instructions. Being a Punch Press Operator responsibilities include configuring equipment and calibrating gauge settings, recognizing condition of dies, loading materials onto the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from the die. Keeps a record of operational data and performs routine equipment maintenance. Additionally, Punch Press Operator monitors work schedule to ascertain production information, such as size, type, and quantity to be processed. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Punch Press Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Stamping professional to join our team. As a Metal Stamping, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining metal stamping machines to produce high-quality metal parts. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay rate $20-$22 p/h
Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:45am to 2:15pm

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate metal stamping machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the stamping machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition
-Able to operate mechanical power presser, drill presses, material choppers, straighteners, and un-coilers.
- Removes burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpiece
- Measure workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation
Experience:
- Previous experience operating metal stamping machines
- Mechanical background
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
- Ability to read and speak in English and Spanish
- Forklift experience
