    In this role, a successful candidate will:
    • Stay up-to-date with marketing digital technology and social media trend.
    • Assist with ensuring marketing campaigns run smoothly, on schedule, and within scope
    • Absorb knowledge, implement directions with minimal supervision, and perform routine marketing operations according to given protocols.
    • Display exceptional social interactive skills at guest-facing functions and events while promoting Marketing agenda

    Base Pay: $50k-$60k

    Attendance: This is a full-time time, year-round position. Due to the resort nature of our business, applicants should expect to work weekends and holidays.

    Minimum Age: 21
    Typical Shift: 8 am-5 pm
    Environment: This is an indoor job, but must also attend activities and events outdoors in Alpine Mountain Winter and Summer conditions. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods and regularly lift/carry 50 lbs.
    Housing: Limited employee housing is available upon request. “Dorm-style” starts at only $450/month. Other options are available. A list of local rental resources is also available upon request.
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Respond to and engages with guests on behalf of Angel Fire Resort on all guest-facing platforms
    • Contribute to great memories by managing digital guest interactions
    • When responding to guests, use empathy, problem-solving, and understanding of our demographic
    • Contribute to the strong team dynamic
    • Assist with creation, identifying technical SEO issues, and working with web developers to optimize the website.
    • Assist with monitoring web metrics to ensure effective marketing campaigns
    • Monitor, track, and report on feedback and online reviews
    • Build, manage, and send engaging email newsletter campaigns
    • Assist in the creation and management of website blog content
    • Assist with other marketing functions as needed.
    • Report on key success metrics weekly and monthly.
    • Monitor online competitor presences/perceptions.
    • Partner with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy.
    • Ensure consistency of messages across multiple networks.
    • Develop all email templates and promotional content and is responsible for scheduling all sends.
    • Maintain customer database, contact lists, and queries within the Email platform…Ascent 360
    • Report on key success metrics like opens, click-through rates, and conversations monthly.
    • Set up automated email templates, queries and reports focused on improving the guest experience.
    • Provide necessary updates and fact checks for third-party websites such as onthesnow.com; skinewmexico.com, etc.
    • Coordinate the daily winter snow report operation in the early morning hours.
    • Participate in resort events when necessary.
    • Experienced or open to learning email audience building and segmentation best practices
    • Experienced or open to learning to create content, photos, stories, and short-form videos for constant social media presence and to update the archive.

    Education and/or Experience
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communication or High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with resort recreation including but not limited to snow sports, golf, and biking.
    Other Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent project management skills, managing timelines and deliverables
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar data analysis platforms required
    • Must demonstrate the ability to write professionally for varied audiences and consistently meet tight deadlines.
    • Experience using email marketing automation software
    • Exceptional Customer Service and Communication skills. Ability to address a large group with confidence.
    • Ability to ski/snowboard safely at all levels.
    • Ability to ride a mountain bike safely at all levels.
