POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Publications, is part of the Medical Affairs Group. This person is responsible for developing and maintaining publication plans (Smartsheet or other databases) to track all stages of planning, development and production of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and other projects to ensure that all timelines are met. This person manages the development, review, and production of scientific materials across assigned therapeutic areas. The scientific materials include publications, abstracts and associated presentations, medical affairs conference booth panels and handouts, and the medical platform (evidence matrix, key messages, etc). The Senior Manager Publication is also responsible for supporting publication projects under the guidance of the publication lead. This person must develop and maintain a level of therapeutic area expertise that allows them to be an active contributor to these materials and will also work closely with internal experts and cross-functional partners across the organization. The position reports to the Head of the Publication group at Rigel.
