Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and non-medical ambulance trucks.
- Transport passengers to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers or clients
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle
Experience:
- Previous experience as a van driver, bus driver, delivery driver, or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with driving practices and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to interact with passengers or clients and management
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a professional manner
- Experience in school bus driving or paratransit is a plus
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Physical stamina to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods of time
