Public Transportation Inspector jobs in Kansas

Public Transportation Inspector inspects and compiles information concerning activities and conduct of employees on public railroads, streetcars, and buses and submits written reports of findings. May require an associate's degree with at least 4 years of experience in the field. Being a Public Transportation Inspector is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.   • Job Overview:
    We are seeking reliable drivers to join our team. As a Public Transportation Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting individuals from one location to another. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. Part-time positions are available with the ability to set your own schedule, whether it be desired to work 1-2 days a month, or up to 4 days per week. Seasonal drivers are encouraged to apply as well.

    Duties:
    - Safely operate transit vehicles (minivans, NO CDL required!)
    - Inspect vehicles at the start and finish of each work day
    - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
    - Communicate with other employees and riders
    - Complete necessary paperwork

    Requirements:
    - Valid driver's license
    - Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening (paid by the employer)
    - Ability to provide basic assistance to riders
    - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    - Strong attention to detail and time management skills

    Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

    Expected hours: 7.5 – 30 per week
