CEI is hiring for: Construction Inspector to inspect public and private infrastructure projects.

• Experienced in the inspection of public works construction projects specific to city, private developers and utility companies within industry standards and specifications.
• Interpret codes and laws using MAG (Maricopa County) and city standards.
• Experience in full range of public works construction projects, which includes all streets/transportation, water/sewer/storm, ADA sidewalks, curb, gutter, utilities, light rail, airport construction.
• Inspector will work with a Chief Inspector and will have thorough knowledge of construction public works projects to ensure all work is to plan and specification, documented throughout all phases as well as oversee contractor payouts and change orders.
• Monitor all testing and inspection of concrete, asphalt, soil, backfill.  Prepare daily inspection reports.

Requirements: 

• Requires current ACI and ATTI certifications. (in some instances lapsed certs can be renewed at later date) Any additional certs are a plus: NICET, ECC, SWPPP, ATSSA
• Work is typically outside in inclement weather and requires walking in uneven terrain and construction sites.
• Solid experience in the inspection of public works construction projects for city development.
