Public School Teacher prepares lesson plans and instructs students in an assigned school. Develops and implements grade appropriate course work, activities, and assessments to meet the academic needs of children in a K-12 classroom setting. Being a Public School Teacher evaluates and monitors student's performance. Assesses and documents students' progress. Additionally, Public School Teacher participates in development and implementation of Individual Education Plans for specific students. Resolves classroom issues and conflicts. Our Laguna Blanca US Physics Teacher will instruct 11th and 12th grade Physics, Physics Honors and AP Physics C and Mechanics. QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience. Formal education in science is required.
EXPERIENCE: Teaching experience is preferred, as is a teaching credential, but subject area experience and a willingness to develop instructional skills will also be considered.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES: Knowledge of the current theories, techniques and methodologies of physics. We require a person with a passion for all things physics-related and some experience working within Innovation Centers geared towards students as designers.
This position requires someone with a magnetic personality that can draw students into exploring the natural world. The position will require someone who can adjust to the needs and interests of students and has the ability to learn new and complex technology as it presents itself.

Salary range $50,000 - $105,000 depending on experience and credentials. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement.
