Destiny Christian School is seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary teacher to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to facilitate student learning and promote critical thinking skills.
• Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents/guardians, and support staff to address student needs and promote academic success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in education.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification from any State
• Previous experience teaching elementary school students preferred.
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum standards and instructional best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,500.00 - $38,500.00 per year

Grade levels:

• 3rd grade
• 5th grade
