Location:

Hybrid (Remote and On-Site in Okarche, Oklahoma) – Office attendance required on Tuesdays.

Role Overview:

As our PR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online visibility and improving our brand reputation. You will be responsible for managing our public relations efforts to ensure consistent and positive brand messaging across all channels. This role involves a blend of traditional and digital PR efforts, media relations, and content creation. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker with a knack for storytelling and a passion for environmental sustainability. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with a requirement to be on-site every Tuesday for team meetings and deliverable presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead dynamic public relations initiatives by crafting impactful press releases, adeptly handling media queries, and fostering robust connections with key industry influencers and journalists.
• Strategically design and implement PR campaigns that resonate with our brand’s ethos and marketing goals, ensuring alignment and coherence.
• Enhance brand visibility and product promotion through innovative PR strategies and campaigns, leveraging media relations and content marketing.
• Cultivate and nurture relationships with media partners, influencers, and community organizations to significantly boost brand awareness.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze PR campaign performance, and deliver insightful reports to gauge success and inform future strategies.
• Conduct thorough analysis of PR campaign outcomes, presenting key insights and actionable recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
• Generate engaging and persuasive content for press releases, media kits, and the company website, capturing the essence of First Saturday Lime.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure unified brand messaging and representation across all communication channels, reinforcing brand identity.
• Proactively manage crisis communications, addressing public relations challenges swiftly and with utmost professionalism to maintain brand integrity.
• Keep an updated roster of media contacts, including journalists and influencers, ensuring First Saturday Lime remains a top consideration for coverage.
• Act as a compelling ambassador for First Saturday Lime at various events and conferences, enhancing brand visibility and fostering strategic connections.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in PR, incorporating innovative approaches to keep First Saturday Lime at the cutting edge of digital marketing.
• Other Marketing duties as requested

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in public relations, media relations, or a similar role.
• 1 years of experience working remotely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft engaging stories.
• Strong networking skills and a proven track record of building relationships with media and community partners.
• Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Passion for sustainability and eco-friendly products is a plus.
