Responsibilities:
We are seeking a conscientious public information coordinator to oversee the Missouri Lottery’s responsible gaming accreditation with the World Lottery Association. The position involves extensive writing, research and documentation to help the Lottery illustrate our commitment to responsible gaming (RG) measures and resources. This position will lead the organization’s RG committee, create annual responsible gaming action plans, track initiatives and provide guidance on problem gambling. In addition, this position may write news releases and/or write, edit and proof a variety of content, including annual reports and brochures. Top candidates will be highly organized, have a detail-oriented work ethic and demonstrate exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or more of the following: Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Advertising, Marketing or a closely related field. Professional experience in communications is highly preferred. Must know AP style. Experience in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office, is highly desirable.
