Psychologist - Ph.D evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - Ph.D uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a PhD in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - Ph.D requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - Ph.D works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.     • Case management: You may also assist clients with accessing community resources, such as housing, food, and healthcare.
    • Advocacy: You will advocate for clients' needs and rights, working to ensure they receive appropriate services and support.
    • Record-keeping: You will maintain accurate and confidential records of clients' treatment, progress, and case management. 

    Requirements:

    • Education: You must have a doctorate in Psychology from an accredited program.
    • Licensure: You must hold a current, active license as a Psychologist from the New Hampshire Board of Mental Health Practice.
    • Continuing education: You must participate in ongoing continuing education to maintain your license and stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices.
