  • Minimum Qualifications:

    Responsible for organizing Behavior Treatment Advisory Committee (BTAC) meetings; work in collaboration with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and multiple Behavior Treatment Plan Review Committees (BTPRCs) across the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) provider network; monitor providers' compliance with Behavior Treatment Plan Standards; monitor performance of BTPRCs across DWIHN provider network; provide consultation on Behavior Treatment Plan Procedures; facilitate Behavior Treatment Plan Procedures for BTPRCs in the process of the system transformation; prepare quarterly reports for MDHHS on data analysis and trends on Behavior Treatment Plans submitted to DWIHN; organize technical assistance with MDHHS on Behavior Treatment Plan Procedures to DWIHN network providers; annually develop and update the DWIHN’s Behavior Treatment Advisory Committee goals and objectives, and periodically monitor the attainment of these goals; review Behavior Treatment Plans with the Chief Medical Officer in emergent situations; ensure the Behavior Treatment Planning Processes are implemented and operating according to MDHHS standards; review the implementation of the providers' BTPRCs and evaluate each committee's overall effectiveness at least annually, documenting the evaluation of those functions; review system-wide trends of BTPRCs, including process issues, behavior treatment plan approvals, disapprovals and terminations, trends and patterns compared to key indicators such as psychiatric hospitalization, behavior stabilization, reductions or increases in use of behavior treatment plans; make recommendations and support activities necessary to ensure the delivery of clinically appropriate, least restrictive behavior treatment services; review clinical charts and staff qualifications relating to substance use disorder treatment programs; MI Health Link reviews, school-based programs, assertive community treatment programs, residential reviews, autism programs, and focused reviews; facilitate and lead BTAC meetings; present quarterly for Quality Improvement Steering Committee (QISC) and Quality Operations Technical Work Group; and provide consultation for Sentinel/Critical Events Peer Review Committee (SEC/PRC); utilize Behavior Treatment Policy development, clinical audit management, and clinical programs management to perform duties; and must possess valid Michigan Master’s Limited Psychologist license OR valid Michigan Temporary Master’s Limited Psychologist license.

    Location: Detroit, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

    Salary: $112,154 per year;

    Education: Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

    Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as a Clinical Specialist, as a Clinical Therapist, as a Program Consultant, as a Psycho-educational Consultant, or in a related occupation;

    Other Requirements: Experience must include six (6) months’ use of all the following: Behavior Treatment Policy development, clinical audit management, and clinical programs management; and must possess valid Michigan Master’s Limited Psychologist license OR valid Michigan Temporary Master’s Limited Psychologist license.

    Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
