Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - M.A. uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a master's degree in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - M.A. requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - M.A. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Psychologist - M.A. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     Complete Mind Care of PA (CMC of PA) is dedicated to providing mental health services in a compassionate, confidential and uplifting environment. We understand that a patient’s journey to complete mind care, begins with an individualized treatment plan. We do this through provider collaboration and office support to enhance a patient’s quality of life. Our patient-centered practice offers multiple service modalities to ensure the right treatment path – because mental health is a journey, not a destination.
    The role of a Psychologist at CMC of PA is to provide direct one-on-one high quality psychotherapy to a caseload of up to 30 /-, depending on employee status, experience, and comfortability. A Psychologist is responsible for directing treatment under the supervision of their immediate supervisor, the Director of Psychology. CMC of PA offers a multidisciplinary approach, including monthly group and peer supervision and case consultation available with the Dir. of Psychology. Additional resource for collaboration will include our Chief Medical Office, a Triple Board-Certified Psychiatrist (Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry).
    Psychologist will have a dedicated Coordinator to assign caseloads based on specialty, as well as office staff to assist with scheduling, patient documentation collection, and payments.
    Along with our in-office referrals, CMC of PA has a close relationship with outside referral sources i.e., hospitals, universities, and healthcare offices.
    Additional opportunities include working in CMC of PA’s intensive outpatient program.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • Graduate and post-graduate from an accredited institution in related field.
    • Licensed eligibility in the mental health field, including PhD or PsyD.
    • Experience working with children 12 years of age and younger.
    Scheduling and Availability
    • Full-time, part-time and/or 1099
    • Hybrid, in-person, and fully remote available
    • Practice is open Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with flexible working hours for later availability.
    o No weekend or evening requirements
