We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team in the clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients with cardiology-related issues, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a strong commitment to providing quality care. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, organized, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of a physician or nurse practitioner.
• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients in a clinic setting.
• Perform cardiology-related procedures such as EKG's, stress tests, and Holter monitor applications.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising NP or physician.
• Assist with patient education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist other team members as necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
