Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Laborer to join our team at Hawaii Ship Provisioning located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The Laborer will assist in the loading and unloading of provisions onto ships docked at Pearl Harbor. This is a physically demanding role that involves manual labor and heavy lifting. The ideal candidate will be reliable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the loading and unloading of provisions onto ships using various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Ensure that all provisions are securely and safely stowed on the ships, following proper lifting, stacking, and storing techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including keeping tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Follow instructions from supervisors or team leaders to fulfill job requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manual labor or a similar role preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with operating basic equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-player mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
