    The Network Inventory Control Specialist I applies technical inventory expertise to ensure accuracy and drive efficiency of the Duluth Trading Co supply chain fulfilment network.  The specialist is responsible for monitoring inventory and SKU attribute accuracy within and between inventory storage systems (WMS, OMS, WES, ERP); applying systems knowledge, collaborating with affected parties to drive improvements, and troubleshooting solutions to provide the most accurate inventory information to both our external and internal customers. The specialist is responsible for driving, analyzing, and/or supporting network inventory related initiatives to realize operational and/or cost efficiencies, defining processes and training individuals as needed. The specialist will provide their inventory knowledge as a supporting role in strategic supply chain software integrations as they arise, such as but not limited to: WMS, WES, OMS, demand planning software.

    What You’ll Do: 

    • Drive analysis and deliver improvements to network-level inventory attributes. Such as but not limited to: slotted locations, item dimensions, automation compatibility, harmonization codes, hazmat codes, expiration.
    • Monitor and analyze inventory accuracy between inventory storage systems (WMS, OMS, ERP, WES), providing information on opportunities/root causes to the software product managers.
    • Provide technical analytics to support strategic supply chain software initiatives. Such as but not limited to: WMS, WES, OMS, demand planning software.
    • Drive and/or support network inventory related initiatives to realize operational or cost efficiencies, defining standard operating procedures and training individuals as needed.
    • Drive and/or support in troubleshooting network level inventory issues and discrepancies as needed.
    • Prepare inventory control reports as needed.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • High School Diploma, or equivalent, required.
    • Mathematics, finance, or engineering related degree preferred
    • 3 years WMS experience
    • Strong keyboard and computer experience, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
    • Strong logical and analytical skills
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Team player
    • Proven success in a detail-oriented position with high level of accuracy
    • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel
    • Comfort learning new systems/tools
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Comfortable working a fast-paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities

    Compensation Range: $23.00 to $26.00/hour

     

    Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
