Position Summary: The Network Equipment Specialist I position performs technical engineering work related to communications networks, develops plans, specifications, and inspection reports to ensure these items are complete, accurate, and in accordance with good engineering practice. This position is technically involved in the resolution of design and equipment issues that may include performing field investigations or inspections, preparation of detailed plans and specifications for electronics, building powering, HVAC, and associated equipment requirements, checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project.
