  • About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who is highly motivated and skilled in modern automation techniques and tools. You will provide automated incident recovery automation solutions at scale to support the needs of the network operations team supporting the global network. You will be working with an outstanding team of highly skilled network engineers that support the network on a 24x7 basis. This is a unique opportunity to work with multiple networking technologies and deliver innovative runbook automation solutions that fit the needs of operations and delight our customers. In this role, you will: Provide automated solutions at scale to support the needs of the network operations team supporting the global network. Collaborate closely with the Network Operations team to understand incident scenarios and create targeted recovery automation. Implement intelligent algorithms and logic to automate decision making during incident recovery processes. Conduct thorough testing and validation of incident recovery automation to ensure reliability and effectiveness. Monitor and analyze the performance of incident recovery automation, making continuous improvements for efficiency. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance incident recovery capabilities. Provide technical support and training to the Network Operations team for utilizing and maintaining automated incident recovery solutions. Foster collaboration between Network Operations engineers and various development teams to enhance overall system performance and availability relative to network automation platforms. Required Qualifications, US: 4 years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education. Desired Qualifications: A network professional certification; CCNA, CCNP, CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Administrator, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)). Knowledge and understanding of network infrastructure systems (routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls) and internet technologies. Knowledge and understanding of network automation development through scripting in Ansible and Python. Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban. Knowledge and understanding of modern network monitoring technologies and tools. Experience working in a large scale and global technology environment. Knowledge and understanding of network configuration and management, including troubleshooting.
