Provider Contracting Manager manages the activities of the contracting staff that prepare and maintain contracts and the contracts database system for a health plan network. Responsible for negotiating with facilities joining the health network and setting rates. Being a Provider Contracting Manager oversees network reporting requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, and to produce accurate and relevant reporting of data. Trains and develops staff. Additionally, Provider Contracting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Provider Contracting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Experience:
Logistics, Operations, Transportation, Event experience preferred.
Chauffeured Transportation experience a plus!
Certificates, Licenses:
CDL Class B License with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes or ability to obtain said License.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to train, supervise and motivate employees to perform their duties in an exemplary manner. Ability to clearly and effectively communicate the role that Dispatchers play in the overall operation and success of the company.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to calmly apply common sense understanding to problem solving.
Communication Skills:
Ability to perform computer data entry with minimal errors and teach others to do the same. Ability to read and comprehend directions. Ability to complete pertinent forms.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform the mathematical functions involved in filling out billing forms and the ability to teach others to do the same.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Proven track record of successfully Managing a Team of 10 or more employees.
