 Job Summary

Ability to maintain and repair heavy construction equipment. As a welding fabricator, you will be responsible for joining metal using a variety of techniques, often to form new structures. Duties may include cutting and welding materials according to technical plans. 

Responsibilities and Duties

 Must have at least 10 yrs past experience. Must have ability to follow specific instructions, complete daily paperwork. Must work well with others and have good communication skills.

- Documented experience in TIG welding aluminum (stainless is helpful too)
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Ability & willingness to learn standard operating procedures
- Safe work practices
- Familiarity with blueprints & technical drawings
- A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

Complete daily paperwork. Must work well with others and have good communication skills. Must have experience in pipe fabrication

Qualifications and Skills

10 year minimum experience with equipment and engine repair.

Clean driving record, above average knowledge of equipment operation.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand and/or move while performing job duties. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

SMC requires a background check and is a drug free work place with random testing.
