Under the supervision of the THS Director and the Chief Medical Officer, the incumbent will function as a primary care physician and key caregiver within Tribal Health Services, providing excellence in holistic primary care medicine. Board certified family practice or internal medicine physician, or APRN. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Connecticut. DEA license. Two (2) to five (5) years’ experience in private practice or outpatient setting preferred. Exposure to culturally diverse populations, and in particular Native American populations, preferred. Experience with electronic health record required.
The MPTN Tribal Health Services (THS) clinic is looking for a primary care, internal medicine or family practice provider. With funding from the Indian Health Services, THS provides health care services to the Tribal community living in New London County and their family members.
