    Job Description:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Contracts department. The Contracts Assistant will work individually and with our Contracts team to:

    • Perform data entry/project set up
    • Review contracts for conformity to company rates, rules and regulations and insurance requirements
    • Monitor existing contracts to ensure timely renewals
    • Assist the Contracts Department with various tasks
    • File and track status of contracts
    • Administrative tasks such as processing mail and telephone calls
    • Communication with Clients and Project Managers

    The Contracts Assistant we are seeking has a great opportunity to help WEST take the next step in our growth as a premier environmental consulting firm. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who possesses:

    • Either a high school diploma or an equivalent to a high school diploma with 2 years of experience in the legal field
    • Strong computer and data entry skills
    • Problem solving/analysis skills
    • Communication proficiency
    • Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
    • Excellent attention to detail in all transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness
    • Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent listening skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling information and documentation

    After an offer of employment is made, the candidate must successfully pass a pre- employment background check, drug screening, and a DMV records check that meets WEST’s minimum criteria to operate a motor vehicle on behalf of the company. A valid driver’s license will be required.
