Description
The primary purpose of the Carpenter is to complete rough and finished skilled carpentry work, including commercial drywall, metal stud framing, doors, frames, and hardware.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
• Prepare the layout of the project.
• Constructs, remodels, retrofits and repairs interior and exterior structures made of various materials, specifically drywall.
• Estimate height, width, length, and other proportions.
• Select necessary materials needed to complete project
• Work with blueprints or instructions from supervisors.
• Work various types of materials, such as drywall
• Utilize necessary tools, such as, saws, drills, sanders, etc.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Requirements
• Experience building office buildings, hotels, hospitals, and/or institutional facilities
• Informed and committed to the implementation and enforcement of safety programs
• Possess communication skills
