Provider Contracting Director jobs in Iowa

We are seeking an Executive Director Contracting to join our team! This role defines and executes contracting strategies and ensures alignment among UPH affiliates as it relates to Supply Chain. Evaluates and negotiates contracts and agreements for the acquisition of equipment, services and supplies.

This position is open to remote/work from home with strong preference for candidates residing within the UPH geographies of Iowa, Illinois, & Wisconsin.

What are team member vaccine requirements?

• Defines and executes on a strategy to ensure efficiency in supply chain operations
• Ensures contracting strategies are aligned with the strategic direction of UPH and its various services lines.
• Aligns strategies with GPO and internal contracting resources
• Creates and presents business plans, statistics, and presentations for Executive Leadership as needed
• Consults with and provides counsel to all corporate entities to ensure alignment of various business units as it relates to supply chain.
• Monitors the departments’ success by evaluating key financial, budgetary, and other metrics related to supply chain effectiveness
• Determines, monitors and reports on the department’s budget.
• Provides information on forecasts, trends, or other conditions that may affect UPH affiliate operations or budget planning.

Education:

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent field. Experience in excess of ten years purchasing supplies and services may be substituted for education

Experience:

• Five years of purchasing supplies and equipment for a large medical facility, industrial facility or related industry.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
