    JOB SUMMARY:
    This role includes leadership of the provider compensation team and the strategic direction and general compensation design, planning and implementation of the provider compensation plans. Provides routine reports and support to physicians and other relevant stakeholders regarding compensation levels. Is available to educate and answer questions regarding changes to compensation methodologies and/or regulations. The Director is also responsible for administration of approved provider compensation plans.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    • Assesses Provider Compensation Program against industry benchmarks to ensure program is competitive in the industry.
    • Provides oversight of the calculation, review, and maintenance of US Eye provider compensation including production and other incentives in accordance with contracts.
    • Assesses Provider Compensation Program against industry benchmarks to ensure
    • Leads monthly review of all Provider Compensation Special Payments and Administrative Pay.
    • Maintains all Provider contract documents in Cobblestone contract management solution.
    • Develops and documents procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends options for Provider Compensation metrics and calculations.
    • Develops high quality financial and compensation related reporting for practice operations.
    • Primary point of contact for practice operators regarding Provider compensation issues.
    • Leads Provider Compensation Process Analysis with Practice Operations Team to include questionnaires, observations, and modeling.
    • Provider compensation SME in the planning of acquisitions and service line development.
    • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with General Counsel/Compliance, Leadership, and Finance to support regulatory and business requirements.
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a business-related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in provider compensation in a hospital or multi-practice environment.
    • Ability to influence change, clarify ambiguity, and mobilize team members at all levels in the organization for meaningful action.
    • Demonstrated analytical experience and skills.
    • Experience with physician compensation solution Simpliphy (preferred)
