ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THIS ACCOUNTANT JOB?
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of month-end closing tasks, such as recording journal entries, calculating accruals, performing variance analyses, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Your attention to detail and thoroughness will ensure that our financial statements and internal reports are prepared and analyzed accurately and in accordance with our closing calendar.
Additionally, you will oversee cash management, including monthly bank reconciliations and cash flow forecasting, providing valuable insights to senior management to ensure our entities are adequately funded to meet their obligations. Your expertise in fixed asset accounting will be utilized as you manage and maintain the accounting for fixed assets, including determining capital vs. expense, tracking work in progress, and recommending useful lives and depreciation schedules for asset additions. Furthermore, you will contribute to the preparation of annual Federal Tax Return supporting documentation for all assigned entities, as well as assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasting.
